Factors that can get your visa rejected
- Expired Passport - Applying with a passport that has expired or expires within 6 months
- Insufficient Funds - Failing to demonstrate enough financial resources to support your stay.
- Criminal Record - Having a criminal history that disqualifies you from obtaining a visa.
- Previous Visa Violations - Having overstayed or violated the terms of a previous visa.
- Invalid or Insufficient Travel Insurance - Failing to present valid or adequate travel insurance

Appointment Letter | Needs to be carried on the day of appointment. |
Visa Application Form | Completed, signed by the applicant. If applicable, authorization of third person. If the applicant is a minor, the visa application must be signed twice by the legal guardian, along with custody proof (divorce papers, death certificate, etc.). |
Original Passport | Issued within the last 10 years, with at least 3 months validity after the scheduled return and at least two blank pages. |
Passport Photocopies | Clear photocopies of the 1st page (bio data) and last page of the passport. |
Original Old Passports (if any) | Bound together with a rubber band, not stapled. |
2 Photographs | White background, not older than 6 months (size: 35 – 40 mm in width, not copied or scanned picture). First picture should be pasted on the application; second picture should be clipped on the last page of the passport. Stapled or pinned pictures are not accepted. |
Cover Letter | Original letter with a day-to-day travel plan. If the applicant is submitting applications for family members, all applications must include a copy of the covering letter. |
Travel Insurance | Coverage of at least 30,000 Euros for the entire stay in Schengen territory. For multiple visas, an insurance policy covering the first journey is sufficient. |
Flight Tickets | Onward and return tickets, including names of all travelers. Proof of intra-Schengen flight, train itinerary, or car rental if applicable. |
Proof of Accommodation | Confirmation of hotel reservation. |
Valid UK, USA, or Canada Visas | If applicable. |

If Retired | Personal pension bank statement of the last 3 months. Proof of regular income from property or business. |
